Mentoring
Kit Carson County Collaborative Management Program has partnered with CASA Advocates For Children to offer the voluntary mentoring program called the Legacy Project. The mentor works with the youth for 12 to 18 months focusing on topic areas such as:
- Permanency & Relationships
- Health & Self-Care
- Education & Career
- Housing & Money Management
- Daily Life Skills & Self-Sufficiency
- Self-Esteem & Self-Efficacy
For youth to qualify for this program, they must be between the ages of 13 and 23. If you know a youth who could benefit from this program, please complete this Form and select “Mentoring Program” under “Service Needed.”
