Food Delivery Program
Kit Carson County CMP knows that not having enough food can be stressful and barriers like transportation, distance, and time can make it difficult to utilize the resources in the community. KCC CMP has partnered with Prairie Family Center and areas schools to be able to provide food drop off locations in towns throughout Kit Carson County.
On the second Monday of every month, the partnership will deliver food bank boxes to other towns in Kit Carson County for families and individuals to pick up. We will also provide delivery to central locations the forth week of the month for immediate food needs.
Due to current capacity of this program, not everyone will be eligible at this time. Please complete the following form to determine if you are eligible. Someone from our team will be reaching out to you after you complete this form.
Also, CMP and PFC is working with area schools to create an emergency food pantry at every school. If you need emergency assistance with food, please contact your local school, PFC (719-346-5398), or CMP (719-347-1194).
